There is only one explanation. OK comes from the Greek ‘ola kala’ which means ‘all good’. Greek language exists far longer than English, so there is no doubt about it.

A few weeks ago I started taking Greek lessons because I’m very interested in other languages (like you) and since tons of words have Greek parts in them, I just decided I was willing to give it a try. Anyway I bumped onto a word that I use in my language (Dutch) but it has a totally diffirent meaning in Greek… I am confused… Can you fix this dilemma for me?

The word is KOSMOS, meaning ‘people’
In Dutch ‘de KOSMOS’ is just everything in space…
