ps. it’s cuz it got many with search, so many people are searching for their glasses? where did put it?
another think is that google means ‘many eyes’ -> ‘glasses’.
so its logic, also with “many eyes ten”. Zero is the eye.
nope. gogle is from old polish words and it means glasses.
and another thing, ‘goog’ the word was created by image of glasses (two eyes insid and a two ears).
“Googol” is the mathematical term for a 1 followed by 100 zeros. The term was coined by Milton Sirotta, nephew of American mathematician Edward Kasner, and was popularized in the book, “Mathematics and the Imagination” by Kasner and James Newman. Google’s play on the term reflects the company’s mission to organize the immense amount of information available on the web.
Google is indeed a young word, but it’s not 8 years old, not even in 2007 when this video was made.
According to Google, http://www.google.com/corporate/history.html , since 1997 the company was named Google Inc, the final form, that we also recognize it by today. So 2007-1997=10 as opposed to 8, as Marina stated in her video, from 2007!
Am I being attentive?
I am not a “Word Person” and such things have never been of importance but I much enjoy your lessons. Perhaps, had my school teachers been as beautiful and clever as you I would have been a better student.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barney_Google Perhaps there is some issues with the use of the name google as there seems appears to be prior use of this word. Not that i would call you into question on the matter just a suggestion?

A piece of paper large enough to write out a googolplex would be so massive it could not be stuffed into the known universe.

Love the ability to research old vid’s. We make mistakes all the time & hopefully learn & grow, although not always as fast as google.
I prefer Google to Googol. It’s more natural in the English language. I think that’s why they misspelled it that way.
