It looks like we are so bored with the current lesson (”HOW BORED ARE WE?”), that we have reopened the mine shaft for this old one and are down here picking away at the mineface to see what nuggets might have been overlooked.
The perfect time to go out and vacuum out the car. It’s just ducky outside now, although it will heat up soon. (We tied the all-time record for a high temp yesterday and Modesto beat it by 5°F.)

Oh, I see — the avatar. Mmmmm, yass.
- We are always eager to believe that “the other guys” (or “them”) are are more backwards than we are, yet we consider our most backward activities to be simply tradition.
- In an emergency, you could encapsulate two baling wires strands between strips of duck tape and run a bilge pump with it. In that case, it would be bailing wire.
- I have seen duct tape that is adhesive-back aluminum foil, so duck cloth is not necessarily a component of duct tape.

Personally, I sit for love, peace and understanding. It’s much less tiring, as we will both have a long, long wait. - Tissue + Sneeze
Thanks, James. I especially liked the video. (A still photo of the wind blowing, is somehow lacking.

When the port in the video says it has closed, I wonder if someone approaching in a boat in need of a safe haven is just being told, “Die, sucker!

Are you looking into accessibility with regards to the handicapped, such as the deaf? It seems to me that having a notated version of the videos for the deaf to read would not be too much of an additional workload, especially if the work could be done by TA’s. - Tissue + Sneeze
When I wrenched my back last month, a sneeze shot stabbing pains all along my back. After a while I learned to curl up in the fetal position and tense up to prepare for the shock. I am usually a three-sneezer, but after a bit of this, I soon learned to use mind over matter and “defuse” an oncoming sneeze.Normally when a sneeze almost seems to be coming on, I can hold my breath a bit and kind of balance just at the start of the sneeze until it triggers, because it feels good. I guess it works in reverse too, such that you can outwait it until the urge dissipates.
