I can be your brownie, but the problem is that I don´t know where to go so I probably will still sit there the other day….sounds like a lot of cooking for you

I wonder if the whole ‘brownie’ myth started out as homeless people sneaking into someone’s house, eating their food, then feeling guilty and cleaning their house as recompensation :P

I wonder if I can earn any Brownie points by mentioning the word ‘bandersnatch’? A very strange word that I believe is related to the bogey or the boggart. I had heard of the brownie before (and most other such faerie types), but have always been fondest of the buckawn.

And then of course there is the legendary Brownie Mary who hailed from San Francisco and was known for handing out special brownies to the sick and dying. She helped kickstart the medical marijuana movement which to this day is mainly centered around San Francisco, CA. She would definitely represent both meanings of the word ‘brownie’.

Thanks again for another interesting lesson, HFW.
