Whether you accept that the climate is warming or not, and it certainly is in some areas like the Arctic (thinning and less extensive ice cover, US Navy preparing for operations in an ice-free Arctic), and whether you accept that warming is caused by human activity or not, the fact remains that continuing to pollute our planet and continuing with our [profligate] use of natural resources cannot continue indefinitely and requires concerted and coordinated action by all nations. This article contains an excellent summary of this point of view.
