   Actually, there still is a very popular polka dance that is still often done even today. What is it called? The chicken dance.

   There seem to be some problems with this answer. Czekoslovakia in 1840? For one you could refer to the terrotory but Slovakia was in Hungary and the czechs were a part of Austria, and they certainly werent the same culturally, because it was the time of nationalism so they tried to be as different as they could be. Also the polish uprising was in 1846 and the Hungarian revolution (in which the slovaks supported us) was 1848-49 and we were fighting the imperial armies consisting of czechs as well, so there wasnt too much time for celebration or for them to bond.

   Polka dots was an interesting video.It is similar to the “Hula Hoop” which was very popular and the inventor made big $$$$ from the Hula dance.The “Twist” was a hit song by Chubby Checker in 1960 that started a dance craze and is still seen in TV advertizing.you are doing a great job Marina -I cast a vote for you on sexy geeks 2007.
