Hello there.
It’s Sérgio again from Brazil. I was watching an adult movie and I came up with this expressio: She is going commando.
Please, teacher. Could you tell us what that means?
Love you.

Hi Marina.
This is Sérgio again.
About your class on spoonerism, I’ve got one sentence that you gonna like: “It is kisstomary to cuss the bride” (”customary to kiss”).
Bye - French Fries
Hello marina.
My name is Sérgio and I’ve got one new word for your vocabulary. Have you watched the latest Hulk movie? Right at the beginning of it we can see the expression “Rocinha Favela”.
“Favela” is slum, or shanty town, in Portuguese. During the 1890s, in Rio de Janeiro, there was a very poor neighbourhood there called “Morro da Favela”- Favela Hill. “Favela” is the name of a typical weed in Brazil. Therefore, all the houses there were ill-built and badly assisted by the government. And that is what we still have today: huge poor neighbourhoods in all our big cities.
P.S: The word favela is now part of the Oxford University. - O’Reilly Factor Show – Political Words
Hello there.
My name is Sérgio and I work as an English tutor here in Brazil.
Needless to say you’re the best, because you’re the best.
My question is: where does the expression “night owl” come from?
I’d be only too glad if you could make a video class.
Thanks.
