My Appearance on the O’Reilly Show

Here is my appearance on the Bill O’Reilly Factor Show last night.

I think it went well. I heard he can be a tough guy, but he was really nice to me :-)

Please do me a favor and email him and tell him you liked me on the show. Put aside your politics for a few minutes to help the teacher out and tell him you enjoyed my appearance if you thought I did a good job :-)

They said that if enough people email them, they will have me on again.. and teaching word origins is always a good thing.. especially if I can reach more and more people, right?

Here is his email: oreilly@foxnews.com

Hi Marina – did you know that “blooter” has two other meanings in Scotland? It means to kick something or hit something very hard – as in a footballer “blootering” the ball to the other end of the pitch.

Possibly linked to the “blethering” meaning, it now also means “drunk”, as in “I went to the pub last night and got blootered.”

Ah, obsessed with football and drink – don’t you love Scots!

That did go pretty well for you Marina. Personally I like O’Reilly. He doesn’t take bs and he’s for legalization. Good job on the appearance btw. Your clones like HFP will prolly never attain that level.

He was thinking every giggle means she loves me, she really loves me. I wonder if he asked her the origin of the words loofa & falafel come from? I bet he could’nt wait till the cameras off!
