You all helped the 7 Million Dollar Man Win!
I want to thank EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU, for helping My Teacher’s Assistant, Jay, the 7 Million Dollar Man win the Nike challenge! Obviously Jay won the contest on his merit alone.. but I also think that your votes helped propel him from 21st to #1 very quickly!!!!
So CONGRATULATIONS Jay for the win! And congratulations to my wonderful students for helping a colleague out!
Here is the link to the contest.

Will there be follow up on the 7 Million Dollar Man, is Jay O.K.?
Assisting Lady Marina Orlova is a HOTFORWORDS [phenomena]
onus and thank you
any day now
got a response from Brickfish support, which said the results are in Nike’s hands & judging usually takes 1-3 weeks to complete. Three weeks will be tomorrow, so i would expect results any day now…
Who would have thought, its almost 2 weeks after competition has finished, and the thing is still being judged
can i marry u maria?
Hi leepaz
Marina’s name is Marina not Maria.
Marina states she is single – go figure?
You can check out the BIO page for more details.
you wouldn’t think that the judging would take this long. If Jay doesn’t win, for some bizarre reason, we should form a ‘internet lynch mob’
I don’t know how Miss Marina will tell everyone if Jay doesn’t win.
There will be a riot in cyberspace.
Now I don’t know if he won yet.. it says they are still judging! He’d better win or I’ll be upset!
what are they judging about? he got the highest score, now, doesn’t he?
they are, i imagine, still judging “most original” and perhaps “most viral”…i’m sure he won on views…
If he doesn’t win.
I had to censor what I actually thought and said.
Can you keep us informed either way?
thanks
I voted because you made me aware of the contest through this site so thank you for that. He got my vote because he was the best.
Congratulations Mr. 7MDM! Maybe the moral of the story is, work hard, show others your hard work, link and link again, continue to appreciate those who helped you with kind words and deeds, and don’t stop now! You are moving forward faster than me in terms of public identity. P.S. Guess how many fingers I have? 9 and 2/3, your right! I don’t have all of them any more do to working with stamping out sheet metal. Just one third of my right ring finger is gone, but what the heck, I’m still me. Yes it took me a while to adjust, shameful me. But about 9 months after this incident, I went with other young adults to sing Christmas Carols at a senior citizen facility. There I was singing, O Holy Night, “fall on your knees…..” feeling sorry for myself in my baritone voice, and this very nice lady was smiling at me/us. She was in a wheelchair because both of her legs were gone at mid-thigh. I thanked God for that moment, and refused to feel sorry for myself again.
congratulations to Jay…no one deserved it more – awesome, dude!…
and i gotta say i looked just like the 14-yr-old in the second video when i was his age…
see what happens when you surf the ‘net instead of gettin’ outside once in a blue-dang-moon?…
Congratulations Jay!
This is awesome! I’m so glad he won! It could not happen to a funnier guy!…
I skied at Whistler years ago. Very nice mountain with lots of choices of slopes to use. I think I fell down the mountain more than I skied down it. I think next time i’ll try snowboarding for I have been skateboarder for years. Maybe one day I’ll be as good as Jay.
@ Jay, Hey whats your screen name on here?
I feel a little sorry for the one that was #2 for so long, dropped to 6th in the last two days. had a lot of fun @ work voting as often as possible on the various machines. A good lead came in handy at the end, #2 & #3 came out of nowhere to knock the others off the podium. Way to go everyone & congrats’ Jay “your better is the best there is”. Enjoy the win & hope you do get to Vancouver for the Olympics. If you get to Whistler it’s spectacular all year round but expensive ouch. Cheers
Good on ya, Jay! Congratulations!
yay. \o/
We’ll be following you and cheering for you, Jay.
I didnt really get the whole competation and his vid but I voted for him anyways just to please my teacher.
I am proud of Jay because he worked the hardest and all of us that helped him. Good luck Jay.
What did he win?
