Conversate is very popular in the local black cultures. I think this may actually be related to Swahili which has tenses that English doesn’t use. These have been handed down through the generations. I always thought that Swahili was more precise because it wasn’t a written language. If you mispoke a message from the king, you were dead.
Two examples I can think of is “fin”, like “I fin to do something”. It is present and future tenses for “I am doing it and will continue to do it.” “Bes” pronounced like “bees” is past, present, and future tenses. “It bes that way” means “It has been, is now, and always will be that way.”

“Conversate” is present and future tense. What other words can be altered to represent these tenses?
Fiasco
I remember a big fiasco. I had an unusual date. I dressed “to the nines” (I wonder where that came from?) and my date showed up in a tee shirt. We drove all the way downtown only to find out the restaurant we wanted was closed. It poured rain sideways as we came out of the parking garage; we had no umbrella. We sat soaked at a not-so-good restaurant and disaster movie (funny, it was Krakatoa, East of Java). It was still raining so hard on the way home that my date kept driving off the road. When we got home, we found out we had a date in the middle of a tornado.
