Nice Article

I just found this nice article written by a woman who says that my show has helped her get her son interested in etymology! I think that’s great! And this woman really put a lot of thought into what she wrote… PLUS she can be found hanging out in the comments section of HotForWords…. so be sure to thank her for the wonderful article!

Thanks jcr :-)

I haven’t posted in awhile and I’m just wondering, when did Marina get a last name?

  2. My son has an interest in you too, he likes your ka-nockers and a healthy interest it is too.

  9. Huzzah! My teacher has a last name!
Zowie! That was an unexpected bit of
intel. I know your favorite color is pink,
your eyes are blue and you like small
furry animals. I still don’t know your
favorite food or perfume or flowers,
but you seem like the steak and
    Chanel kinda girl. Maybe, Opium
    after the sun goes down.

I owe you a biggun for your help
    in the “confidential” matter. Thanx
    again and again!

Not all press has to be controversial. This was a good article and gives a great nod to your sexiest asset – your mind.

I’m glad you noticed that. I was trying to make that point. Beauty and brains can be sexy!

      • brains make the beauty all the more entrancing…

        IMO, anywho…

Sexy And Dangerous… Susan Sosbe commented on your article…

You just wait…intelligent blondes will soon be taking over the world :)

Hey I know some of the comments disappeared in the fire last nite, but I still got some in my email… for what it’s worth I’ll reprint my part

I saw your article because “anuddermale” posted a link. Nice to see a womans percpective & the comments of some of the women to your article. Found Kay Whittenhauer’s comments amusing, particularily

OK- I showed my son. He thought it was boring. (I think I enjoyed it more than he did.)
I’m 50yrs old & felt a little strange hanging around the website & all, but I have learned lots & I think I’ve written more in my comments in the last few months than have written in the rest of my life. I show folks at work & customers that will look, the videos that interest me & funny… the reactions of the older guys & young guys differ so much. Marina scares my daughter a little too  Reading your article (and the comments)made my day as well. Thanks

        capman911’s reply:
BillyB I could not have said it any better myself. I am 54 and It seems kind of strange like you said hanging around a site where the teacher is young enough to be our daughter. But we have learned alot even at our age. You can teach an old dog a new trick. Mike

        Chemikal’s reply:
Really cool to have you with us. You’re made of the same kind of solid stuff we are going to use to build up the shinning HFW tower, for people to look up to, and leach some knowledge off it. It would be a place well anchored in reality, just off the shores of Etymologia. :D The virtual construction site is officially open. No doubt you are one of the proud workers there, among other big names, such as(in no particular order): Bob, CaptainJack, capman911, roadrunrnch, melikadothechacha, buzzword, lostforwords, okay4now, geronimo, pedantickarl, pagedoll, greenbush, pennsyltucky9, hutchiee, martin1337, prospero811, and so many more cool people to be listed here, but my eyes and brain hurt and I’m going to sleep. But not before I mention the most active participant in our commenter’s community, that being Marina. I think you’ve seen that user name post 1 or 2 comments. Maybe.. :-) Well, good night. (from Romania, gmt+2) ChemikalzZz

        see if that worked?

And then somebody gets a meal…
Marina helps save the world :!: :!:
