My sister used to wear pigtails when riding the Ford tractor that pulled the brush hog.

  • I wonder what you call all that “hair” between the kernels in an ear of corn?
  • Did you spot the mistake? workds (Just testing.)
  • Actually, I can read this easily AND see the individual letters as I read. In 5th Grade, I beat the entire school (including the 6th Graders) in a spelling bee contest. I’ve always found spelling to be both easy and interesting. I simply cannot read a word without also looking at the letters that compose it. Maybe my mind workds twice as hard when it reads.
  • I don’t know the name for my hairstyle. It’s beyond curly, but it’s not a ‘fro. Similar to David’s hair (son of Captain Kirk), or the father on the Brady Bunch, or Michelangelo’s David. Any suggestions?

Capman911, my original idea was to continue with requesting words within the conversation threads, but to flag word requests with a special emoticon. Your idea of an emoticon to click on for bold or underline would be along those lines. PedanticKarl also proposed the use of bold. However, I think sometimes people want to use use bold and underline for other purposes. I am still of the opinion that a special emoticon of some kind that has no other logical purpose would work best. Maybe an emoticon that is not yellow (right now, only Mr. Green stands out from the crowd). On the other hand, an emoticon, however visible to the eye, may not be searchable. My thought is that as the library of words/phrases/games grows, it will become more and more difficult for Marina to scan all the posts for word requests. Maybe someone more technically skilled and more creative than myself will come up with an idea to facilitate Marina’s arduous task of word request tracking.

Have you seen “Requiem for a Dream?” It’s a strange movie! (But definitely worth your time to see it.)
