New TA Announced!
Greetings fellow students,
With full approval from our dear teacher, Marina. I would like to announce a new assistant TA Capman911 (aka Mike, and aka Moose and Squirrel). Mike has had been doing a lot of behind the scenes work helping me out with HFW. He has been an outstanding door greeter to new visitors at HTW.
Mike is a retired Captain for the Fayetteville Fire Department. The man to the right of the first photo is his son Michael who is on Eastover Fire department I myself have fought fires in Navy simulators and know a bit about what Mike does. The idea of going into a strange burring building to put out the flames and rescue people and property makes one think how risky that kind of job is. It takes a brave individual to risk his own life to save others. Mike is a modern day hero.
We are still accepting applicants for TAs, so don’t give up. Keep visiting and contributing to HTW. Oh and yes I’m still a TA.

Word up Dude
WHat’s HTW? At first I thought it was a typo of HFW, but now it seems it is pretty consistently used.
Congratulations Mike! I think you will make a great TA! Im so excited!
Ok well for your first assignment, Marina just yelled out for a cup coffee, or was it tea? I don’t know, You’ll have to find out. Im going back to bed!
I hope you like how I spiced up your photos. I think I could have chosen a better background color. Humm aren’t we artist our own worst critics?
ICONOGRAPHICALLY and a iconoclast. Felicitations Capman 911″Mikey” Marina is the ICON.
Congratulations Mike
. Good going. Couldn’t happen to a better man. Keep up the good work
Right-on Mike!
congratulations mike i am glad you got it
Congratulations Capman….
Cap’nJack — not to pick nits or anything, but you might want to proof read your blurb up there. “Mike has had been…” and what’s a “burring building?”
Marina is going to bring me on as a consultant and there are going to have to be some changes made……
When Raymond Burr moved into an historic building (the building had iron sides instead of brick) that had a plaque reading “Aaron Burr lived here,” the building was said to be “burring.” Personally, I bristle at the thought of a burring building. It’s bad enough running into burrs out in the field.
It’s a test for the new TA to proofread the posts. Still not sure what HTW is.
Capman911 - Now you are a TA - sweet!

Marina made you a part of her big weekend
Congratulations!
Congratulations!
Thanks Miss M. it is a great honor to serve in this position for you.
Mike
Thank you Capman! Now if I can just figure out what color combination would be good for you.. they are not looking so good right now.. arrghh…
Just leave me like I am with the red out line around my comments.
That will work
Oh you should have given him pink like what I has as my first color. Tehheehheh….

Hey Mike, my cap is off to you. Congratulations to one of the best.
Salute
If I had them on my company I wouldn’t have retired. Thanks BillyB, I see after the other night you must still have a wife.
Way to go Capman911
