Not bad.. but it doesn’t really show how the word, taken from friken (however it’s spelled), had it’s connotation changed so drastically.. I know when I hear “f you”, they’re not saying “I’m going to hit you”
And, why is the f word one of english’s worst word as far as “bad language” goes?
People put so much meaning into words (and I do mean SO MUCH) that the word itself no longer really has any meaning itself as the implication of the word. If people would stop implying meanings instead of using real meanings then a lot of our “bad” words would just be, well, words.

I noticed those after I posted my request - Plastic Surgery
Sifting through your videos and enjoying the out takes.. something occurred to me.. why the censoring of “swear” words.. and then, why are they considered bad. So, as I’m sure lots of people are interested in the origin of this word, not many are willing to request it.. to be honest, I don’t expect this one to be done as 90% of the lesson would be censor blips hehe.. but, here is the word.. (censored for obvious reasons)
[f**k]
I’ve actually had lengthy talks with my friends about the origins and implications of this word, but would like to see someone who actually goes into history of language to find the origin.
Thank you in advance, sorry if I offended anyone by this request in advance and again, keep up the great work

Here’s a challenge for you.. let’s stray from origins of english words and head to Japan..Can you find to origin (and meaning of) the word [hentai]
btw.. I love what you’re doing.. I’ve been interested in the origins of language for some time now.
Keep up the great work.
