    Very, Very Good!

Although the vid’s been viewed 8,000 times or something, SOME number of those people I’m sure have become fans, and how excellent to see it up there on their site as I write this 8 months later.

Your content has broad appeal, and capturing a slice of demographic from the [Hoity-Toity] at the New Yorker certainly doesn’t hurt!

Items like this broaden and add continued credibility to your body of work and broaden a firm foundation of viewers.

You’ve got me thinking again about how many other long-lasting or prestigious publications or ‘Institutions’ you might get a toe-hold into like this…

Even a one-time thing like this that stays on their site because it is relevant to their biz creates lasting exposure to a relatively small audience…but done in hundreds of places would be very powerful in the aggregate.

Ref Items 4 & 7 in my very first post…

Thanks Jody I still want to syndicate my videos like you said! Maybe when I start my book tour I’ll think of a way of doing that for each of the places I visit.

      • I think THAT would be a GREAT idea, and wouldn’t overwhelm you with too much to do…the major interviews you do on the book tour would be natural places to leave behind such a vid…

      • O’Reilly needs an ‘O’Reilly Words’ page on his website – linking to his O’Reilly words – you’ve done most of them already – EASY to do, you are a regular, he loves you, etc.

Is this something your Publicist can arrange, or should I have a talk with him? ;-)

It enhance HIS brand…not a charity request…he will respond to that.

You have earned it and again it would be a natural.

        • I checked…there is already a ‘Body Language’ tab on his Fox website – Tanya R – just a few steps ahead of you in his long term lineup.

Not ‘competitiion’ at all – he has a cadre of ladies he brings along to balance and soften his ‘macho’ and brusque style.

You are PERFECT for him and connect to a younger audience.

          DO IT! Do it now!

A simple suggestion by your Publicist to his Producers could make it happen in a phone call with the right ‘pitch’…

christ! .. it just occurred to me. .. Marina has a link from the New Yorker to this site! … all those respectable, educated people will see what a load of fatuous old bollocks we talk.

we must spruce up our act and speak only of intellectual things.

    … erm .. such as .. hmmmm ….

The cartoon lounge Y/T site… is Marina going to be posting vids for them. The only other vid there is a stuck 41 hours in an elevator… sorry “fun-evator”…41 hours, no toilet, fun :?:

    Hello Marina,
What!? No high heels for the occasion?
I like that you wore shorts, and whatever that shirt is called, while the average New Yorker is most likely bundling up against the cold weather.
A tue Californian you have become though it seems that you’re more like Californium (long lived and radioactive).
Another excellent lesson and reference added to your impressive resume.
    Thank you , Marina

    The New Yorker,
does that mean our teacher is finally being accepted by the intellectual elite, or at least those who think they are?

    Very Very Nice video Marina.
But so not New Yorker style.
    I understood it.
But maybe that’s cause I’m a New Yorker.

i’m not sure which would be better .. M on Colbert Report or M doing this intro stuff for the New Yorker (is this regular?)

    course, both would be best.

… and keep doing Bill O’Reilly for the irony. :)
