The origin of the line “Curses, foiled again!” …

The origin of the line “Curses, foiled again!” is from the wonderful and hilariously popular cartoon show, The Adventures of Rocky & Bullwinkle, also known as for a time as Rocky and His Friends.

    Where’s the beef? (American, informal)
something that you say when you think someone does not have enough ideas to make their plans work. Where’s the beef? The Senator has no new political initiatives or ideas.
  • Promiscuous
No doubt – it is not good, especially when one is not a party in that!

A sansetsukon is a similar weapon with three sticks attached on chains instead of two.

  • Gird Your Loins (Game)
The loins are between the lower ribs and pelvis. It is often used when describing the anatomy of humans and quadrupeds (such as horses, pigs or cattle). The anatomical reference also carries over into the description of cuts of meat from some such animals, eg. tenderloin or sirloin steak.

The term also loosely refers to human genitals due to their prominence in that anatomical region. Hence “fruit of one’s loins” means children.

A loincloth is a one-piece male garment, sometimes kept in place by a belt, which covers the genitals and, at least partially, the buttocks.
