You would not be caught “joshing” your students. Unless your students were obstreperous and recalcitrant. as we know you students are nothing more than eager to learn.
If my memory serves me correctly than I believe you did teach English to high school students.
Thanks for today lesson …. Toodle-oo

Yes I did we had quite a few good times together but timing was bad to pursue anything more. We still keep in close contact and I truly believe that if we don’t get lost in the bad twisted world there may be a time.

My most romantic date……..It was in the late autumn, the air, the fall colours(notice the U in colours) and the clear sunny sky all had much to do with the day but I need to tell you how it happened first.
I was wandering around the entertainment section at a bookstore. I remember everything as clear as day. I had Bob Dylan Chronicles: Volume One in my hand and I was kneeling looking at the Chuck Palahniuk titles wondering if all his books were the same style as Fight Club. I stood up and directly across from me was a beautiful strawberry blonde with the cutest dimples I had ever laid eyes on. We locked eyes for only a moment and both headed towards the same end of the divider. I smiled as I walked passed and she returned the smile. Once I was passed her I heard excuse me….
’twas in another lifetime, one of toil and blood
When blackness was a virtue and the road was full of mud …..
I was shocked this young girl( Still my age) just recited one of my top three favorite Dylan song openings…. I replied ….
I came in from the wilderness, a creature void of form.
Come in, she said,
I’ll give you shelter from the storm.
Now that is a connection to fire up some emotions in ones body. I was now in a conversation and had this strange feeling in my gut that I never wanted this conversation to stop. It was amazing. We talked about Dylan, we talked about cooking, We talked about everything and anything that was in whatever section we were walking through.
From the book store I felt the burning desire to make this pleasant experience last as long as I could. We went to a near by park and walked and talked for hours.(This is where the air, fall colours and just beautiful day helped set more of a mood) At least long enough that we both were starving. We went from the park to a local restaurant ate and drank well into the evening. I was very persistant on us taking a cab and when the cabbie asked, ” Where to?” she replied, “His house”…… The night didn’t stop we drank wine listened to not every but many Dylan vinyls and continued learning about one another.
That day was the greatest day I have every had. To be able to connect with someone let alone a stranger on that level is really something special and as a true romantic that is what I would have to say is the most romantic day of my life.Thank you Marina for the homework. It truly made my day
