Hmmm… I don’t know if I particularly care for terms like ‘Casanova’ or ‘womanizer’, so I wouldn’t necessarily want to adopt such as a title. But I do know my way around a mattress, and have skills when it comes to the art of seducing and satisfying a woman.

For instance, I’m good at getting a woman’s full name if she’s only handing out her first name… lol

And that’s just for starters… ; )

I’m reminded of a song from the movie ‘Orgazmo’…

‘Now You’re A Man’

Hey!

What makes a man?
Is it the power in his hands?
Is it his quest for glory?
Give it all you’ve got,
to fight to the top
So we can know your story

Now you’re a man
A man, man man
Now you’re a man
A manny manny man
A man man man
You are now a man
You’re a man
Now you’re a man

Live it, Live it

What makes a man?
Is it the woman in his arms?
Just cause she has big titties?
Or is it the way he fights every day?
….No, it’s probably the titties

Now you’re a man
A man, man man
Now you’re a man-man
Man-man man-man man
Now you’re a man
M-A-N, man
Man, man-man man
Now you’re a man

LOL! Exactly, James. Well put.

The placebo effect is rather fascinating, but I would have to believe that it is limited by how serious the illness is. The more intense the illness, the less likely the placebo effect will help ‘cure’ it. I wonder just when doctors started using placebos and when they discovered the phenomenon of the placebo effect.

I don’t think they view their job as standing for something. They basically view their positions as a way to perpetuate the status quo, and only try to legislate and fix things when they have to. As much as the leadership deserves the blame for being so inert, so does the electorate for being so complacent.

To me, being progressive has little to do with liberalism, conservatism, or socialism. It simply means trying to progress things forward regardless of direction (right or left). Progress is a good thing. Efficiency is a good thing. But those in political power do not like progress because it means inviting change, and inviting change means risking losing some control or profit. Human nature is such that those in power focus first and foremost on retaining that power. So, for a while now, our politicians in Washington DC have merely been babysitting the country and doling out progress as little as possible. Hence the placebo nation we find ourselves living in.

Well, you are an odd cat, Leonard, but you sure know how to link to cool stuff online!

I’m a huge T Rex fan myself, but I have yet to watch ‘Born To Boogie’ because it has been hard to find. I didn’t even think of doing an internet search for it. Besides the youtube segments, the entire documentary can be viewed at Google Video:

Have you ever seen the documentary about Nick Drake? It’s a tad depressing, but worth watching if you are a Nick Drake fan. It’s called ‘A Skin Too Few’. Here’s a link to it’s first segment on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_R7vzeEVoV0

    Peace, Errin : )
