There is a lot of hate coming from that reply. Do you have some sort of scarring memory? Always picked last in dodgeball?
Sports are team games where you learn friendship, teamwork and hard work. Not to mention setting goals. Ken Dryden was an amazing goalie in the NHL and also got a degree in university. One must be sound in body and mind so why can’t you do both? I am sure that Marina stays physically active. Why is competition such a bad thing? Is that not what brings the best out of some people in sports AND academics? What are scholarships? And why would a scholarship be any different from a college draft?
It just seems to me like you have no right to post insults and then praise Marina. Focus your energy on being more intelligent and less ignorant.
