Wow, I am having mega trouble with YT. The vids I am trying to watch are not loading or are loading really slooooooowwwly. Even worse, some of the music vids that I have favorited have either had the audio disabled or no no longer available at all. Am I the only one really getting pissed at YT, or are you cats having issues, also?

I don’t know why other people are having problems with the HotForWords videos not showing up in their YouTube subscription box. For me, HotForWords videos have always been displayed in a timely manner in my YT subscription box.
In fact, in the Recommendations box, YouTube has always given me one ore more HotForWords videos. Take a look at this screen shot. In the recommended section, there is one video from HotForWords and two other HotForWords videos/references provided by other YT users.

This begs the question. Maybe YT’s algorithm is all bassackwards. For YT to remind me of HotForWords videos is like preaching to the choir. Before YT catches up with me, I’ve already watched ten HotForWords videos. YT needs make sure to remind everyone else, though.
The other question that is begged, maybe some people thinking that they are subscribed here, and haven’t subscribed to HotForWords on YT, think that they should be notified of HFW videos in their subscription box, which won’t happen unless one is subscribed to HFW on YT. I know several people who made that error.

I thought in your original video you said that you could never be considered it refering to the word we now know is maudlin. Also, I’m feeling very satisfied that I at least got the word right. Dullard could be an eponym since it’s a surname going back to 1225. I didn’t see it on the wiki list of eponyms though. Maybe I have a delusion over what a eponym is. It could almost be a toponym too, if Dullsville is a real place.
It’s amazing how close both answers seemed to relate to the question.

For an eponym, the word has to be named after the person – not just chronologically, but causally. There may have been several Magdalenes, but maudlin is named after one, specific Mary Magdalene to denote one of her key characteristics.

Marina, maybe it’ll appear a little bit later. You seem to have had problems uploading this video. Sometimes I have had problems watching Youtube-videos even in standard quality because the transmission speed was too slow in the last few days. Maybe Youtube has some serious technical problems at the moment.
Marina, sometimes YouTube will advise when one of your new vids is out and sometimes they won’t. This seems to have been going on for weeks now. I only know to keep ckecking both YT and HFW because I simply don’t trust the subscription page any longer.
I agree for it has done the same thing on me in the past with other people I subscribe to. This issue is nothing new to me for it has gone on for many months. I don’t even have it email new uploads for I normally able to watch the new uploads long before the email gets sent out. I don’t think this is a glitch though. I think YT has reasons for the delay.
I will look in my other accounts boxes and let you know
