The master of ARTS…Sexy hot blonde is an Internet sensation
lol – billboard is “Afisa” in greek as well
Afisha has an advertising agency a few blocks away from my office and I drive by it every day. The funny thing is that almost all of the instances of Afisha appearing on other Websites (business sites, etc.) has their PO box listed instead of the physical address. The result of this is that when a map pops up, their location is shown to be the location of the local post office! With all the automatic mapping being done on the Web today, that is one side effect of using a PO box that hadn’t occurred to me.
Because USPS delivers to the last two lines of the address and ignores the others, I wonder if you could get the mapping to work by putting both out to the world like this:
Big Thing Industries
1234 Jones St
PO Box 9876
Las Vegas NV 89104
This assumes that the ZIP code is correct for both. I guess if the PO box ZIP was different than the physical ZIP, it wouldn’t work.
Beverly Hills, a notch or two above the architecture of the “valley”, the stucco sprawl that’s spread evenly across L.A.. Beverly Hills, a good choice on where to set roots…unless of course one factors in the intrigue and crime associated with the lives of those who aspire to live the good life at the top of the pyramid, competing ruthlessly, heartlessly with everything to lose, and once they’ve achieved the good life, willing to do whatever is needed to stay at the top, stopping at nothing, even murder. Yes, Beverly Hills, you have to walk the razor’s edge to survive in that town.
What a real pick-me-up that was! It reminds me of the piece of a white paper bag I found wadded up in front of the dumpster this morning while emptying the trash. In three-inch-high green pastel lettering, it reads:
I found that soooo depressing that I had to save it.
Changes to the blockquote? Read here.

Just to cheer you up, that was just a film noirish fantasy.
Now if you are really a fan of Marina, learn Russian so you can read the article in the original Russian. The silly Google translation is pretty bad…
Where in CA are you?
Я живу в Лос–Анджелесе.
Damnity Al-CaliforniaChekoloff!
We don’t speak Klingon here! Please be educated! Don’t you see that the boy is talking to you in ENGLISH? What does Я живу в Лос–Анджелесе mean eh?
And your “R” is reversed man! It is R. R, don’t you see? What is this funky Я doing here? At least put it in the correct direction!!
that ultra mini kilt your wearning AWSOMELIOUS
That’s like saying that, for example, the Rocky Mountains are wonderful because of the fine species of moss growing on top. Hey, it’s just a piece of cloth.
It’s what’s in the kilt that counts.
To kilt for?
Postarshe sounds a little vulgar. Does it mean we’re over the hill?
No, you’re thinking of “pornstarshe.”
It was ‘postarshe’ in the Google translation. Got interested in Russian before Marina appeared on YouTube, but gave up on the Cyrillic alphabet. How do you type something in Russian on our English keyboards? Russia is a fascinating country, lots of beautiful buildings and beautiful women. Thanks for the info.
I’ve seen that ultra mini kilt before! During the quadrophenia style running battles between the Punks & Teddy boys (King’s road, Chelsea, London), a new shop called BOY (or Ad Hoc Boy) opened. It sold Punk, Glam rock and all kinds of outrageous attire – including that ultra mini kilt.

Happy schoolgirl pic , perfect for attracting kids to go to school
WHAT A WONDERFUL PHOTO! Beautifully captures your exuberant spirit!
Congratulations for more great PR, Marina.
Always.
I think there is some vague similarity with the little red riding hood. But our teacher is wayyyyy more beautiful and sexy of course!
Are we quite sure this is not written in klingon? Is there a proof somewhere that this is indeed 100% russian and not some hybrid mix of klingonesque diatribes?
That is google translator for ya.
I guess it’s better than nothing.
Is this what Sec. of State Clinton uses?
That was a good article even though the translation wasn’t the best.
Congrats M! Google trans sucks but I kind of get the gist of it. Sort of. I wonder why the world speak so many different languages.
There you are CJ!

Hey, just thought you might like to see THIS . I guarantee you’ll be on the edge of your seat the whole time and from the 2:30 mark on you’ll completely flip-out!
Enjoy.
Gee PD! I like this stuff!!
I love this stuff. I almost converted my Toyota Celica into a hill climber. In the PNW all our hill climbing events are on old dirty logging roads. Very scary for you don’t have that much traction. Also I have a fear of heights.
Tnks for the link PD!!!
Jack
LMAO!
You’ll have to pimp your ride a bit capt’n! A Toyota Celica will climb that thing slower than a Harley Pedalson or a farm tractor (but yes, it’ll make less noise, which is a good thing, come to think of it)!
Du! You obovisly mistaken me for someone that is clueless.
@Capt’n Jack
I beg your pardon? I obviously mistook you for someone else. I am clueless. Don’t blame it on it.
Opps I hit the submit button to fast. I think what was most amazing was that he finished the race just in time before his shift knob broke off!!!!!
Good article poor sentence construction though.
HI Marina You are so popular
You really have done a lot in two years. Congratulations on all your success
BE careful with it their is a lot of bad people out their. I wish you the best
Dear Marina, Congratulations on another favorable article about you in a Russian magazine. I hope this improves your chances for success!
Seesixcm6
Gee Dude she’s already a success, she’s just still trying to figure out what to do with it. Just saying.
Gikov, what is this word?
I guessed “geek”
Congratulations Marina! Wow, photos by “thee” Richard Kern?
Where do they get these pictures of you? lol
I looked but couldn’t find any (other than the ones in the newly added slideshow). They’re too small to use as, or make a computer background out of.
Cool… I love it that people notice you more and more!
OK, tomorrow I will be announcing weather or not I passed my driving exam. Traffic is hell, and it will rain, so the odds look good.
The “translation” makes alot more sense if you read it with a Russian accent.

No, really. It does. Try it out.
All this international print coverage! That’s great for you, Lady M.
You are soul kind, Marina! I’m only a bum to this pretty site. jmj rock the world!*!*!*!*!*(+)

Mother Russia must be proud
