Textpectation: The feeling of anticipation one gets waiting for a response to a text message.
You know the feeling.. glancing at your phone every few minutes… “Where is that text?”… “I wonder if mine went through…”… ”Should I send it again?”…

How about the nerd word, [etextulation], for every time I hit the send key. My idea has been sent, but “Oh,no! I screwed up again!” Teacher smacks my wrist for misspellings, missing words, and general bad grammar. Oh well, must try again, and again, until perfection.
My keyboard has ‘Twitterrot’ this is what happens when you text while eating Cheetos, the crumbs gunk up the keyboard.
Where will this all end? Is there any limit to gluing syllables together? Sillybles?

I get the feeling people could come up with a lot of “text” words because there are so many ex- words. I don’t know about twitter. You would need to be a little more inventive.
These innovations are apparently bringing in their own vocabulary and not all of it is very interesting. In fact, some of it is awful.
And I used to think IMing was fun. Excuse me.. sending an instant message.

I have very low texpectations for myself. This does explain my students’ behavior. The little buggers will start to literally jones’n the freak out.

I believe this to be a textraneous digression, having no relevance… to my world. I feel deeply fortunate to be free of textpectations.
I don’t text message, but I kinda get that same feeling when I send email.
