 Everyday is the same, because Marina and her HotForWords are…Hot Smoke and Sasafrass – Bubble Puppy (1968)…American HISTORY—2 U  The name “Bubble Puppy” was taken from “Centrifugal Bumble-Puppy”, a fictitious children’s game in Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World. “Hot Smoke & Sasafrass” was a line lifted from an episode of The Beverly Hillbillies.

In the early 1970’s the band moved to Los Angeles, and changed their name to Demian signing up with Nick St. Nicholas of Steppenwolf as a manager.
Demian released one self-titled album in 1971. In 1972, Bubble Puppy split up.

    …*****MARINA is always HOT*****…

 now back to the [garden] or eating :?:

Of the week? How dare they try to limit your hotness so!?! You, HotForWords, are an eternal heat that can only be cooled by comparison to the friction your words set off in the minds of your fellow philologists!

I hate that Civony ad above. It gets you hooked, but too many bugs in that game to deal with that I stopped playing. I don’t care if the game is only 3 weeks old. You put too much time and effort building up and it just sucks the life out of you.
The only type of people who still play it anymore are the most dedicated, avid players that started when the game first came out, giving them the higher advantage. After a week and half of playing it just got to that point to where I asked myself: Even if I spend so many weeks building up an army powerful enough to take on senior members… do I want to? It just seems like a false sense of accomplishment, which is one of the major downfalls to that game. So I just quit while I was ahead and back to more important stuff in life I should be doing.

    Cool!!!!

You caught their attention with the insightful and well written article/post/analysis you did on changes at YouTube – and they link to it! Cool and Cooler yet…

Building respect like that among Internet ‘business-savy’ pundits/journalists/observers – or whatever the proper label would be, as well as those who read them – adds [gravitas] – and Gravitars – to your Brand.

I’ll bet some Masters or Ph.D candidate in a Business School is going to do their Thesis on you and the HFW phenomenon sometime soon, as an example of what to do right in an Internet business model.

Anyone want to bet against it?

I’ll come with my own analysis of the HFW Phenomenon soon…doing my Homework…

Would those of you in the ’silent majority’ please weigh in at the Forum ‘What made you an HFW addict?’ Even a few words is helpful.

A few of us ‘Loudmouths’ seem to hog the Stage…but there are over 40,000 here – and I’ve been here less than a month…so show me some Help and don’t make me more of an Ass than I already am? Please?

      Jody

    • I don’t think such a thesis would be approved. Not much research is required to figure out why it happened (not that I’m complaining).

      • On second thought, CK, I think you are right…not complicated enough for ’scholars’…

BUT – it would make a really great Case Study for the Textbooks (with URL listed) on how to come up with a great idea, unique to your talents, abilities, and assets – and turn it into a thriving, internationally recognized phenomenon and business in about 2 years, with no signs of slowing down. (I don’t think ANYONE here is complaining! )

    • Hey by the way Jody, that has kind of has happened sort of already. I think it was early last year, Marina was invited up to San Francisco to give a talk at YouTube (or was it Google?) to talk about Internet success. I remember she displayed some photos when she was up there. And, I think someone or several people have written articles on her success in more detail than the casual promotional, but less than a thesis. So, as you said, I’m sure there will be a more advanced paper coming soon.
