- Dear Marina,
Would you like to do a special lesson about French words in other languages ? When you open an English dictionary, perhaps one word on three comes from French, and (as I speak Swedish), every other word in a Swedish dictionary comes from French (e.g. French [fauteuil], Swedish [fåtölj] (armchair). In West-African languages, due to the colonial history, a lot of colourful words come from French too, and I am also wondering about Russian, and about Japanese and other Asian languages. Also, many words of love and fashion come from French ([flirt], [glamour]).
I would also like to register to your prizes, but I am not an internet nerd, I feel akward with twitter… Of course I don’t qualify for the lunch date, since I don’t live in the US – too bad for me, when I discovered your channel I fell instantly in love with you. True !
– but I would very much like to win the pic which will “make my ex or my future girl-friend jealous !”By the way, what do [nerd] and [geek] mean exactly ? And where do these words come from ?
Thousand thanks and kisses.

Dear Marina,Somebody has requested [indeed]. I think that would be a very good word to enlighten us about. I am French, and though I am a professionnal translator, none of the translations [en vérité], [effectivement], [bien sur], [à vrai dire], [en fait], etc. has ever satisfied me.
And, Evan Owens, thanks for the [bagpipe] video. I am a [bagpipe], with its [chanter] and [drones], addict !
