I’ve read the article now, and I do hope your parents get to visit you in L.A. this summer. Other than the massive amounts of stress it would cause you, in cleaning alone, it would be a lot of fun for them to see your world. You may be able to ease their language fears by telling them that American airport signs have pictures telling them which way to go. I’ve read that the ones in Moscow are not so friendly.

I think it would be interesting for them, who grew up in Soviet times, to see [decadent] America.
