Thanx, Leonard! I posted that one well after the vid came out(doin my research, doncha know), and was beginning to think it was never gonna be seen. Man, I’m fallin’ behind. I haven’t watched ‘douchbaggette’ or ’swine flu’ yet.

If anybody cares, I have been working on a new political post. Don’t worry though, I will have a warning and disclaimer at the beginning because I know how some people feel about those ding-dang political posts!

I live in the mid-west and did some checking. I talked to 5 people who were all driving in the 1940’s and ALL 5 remembered this phrase from back then. NONE of them were surfers. In fact, everybody I tallked to seemed to think the phrase came from hanging your arm out the window to signal in the absence of turning signals. No doubt “hang 10″ came from surfing but “Hanging a Louie or a Ralph”; well, thats just one of those good old Americanisms that means exactly what it says!

yeah, those Atlantic rollers can awesome, but they’re also inconsistant according to the locals. I probably went at the wrong time of year too. Kneeboarding in Wales was terrific, but not quite like the video.

Oh that’s right! I totally forgot about that. Shame on me! Me being a ham radio operator should be more aware of that. I remember that peak cycle was to be around 2009 or 2011. So it’s 2011? Ok good to know.
As for it effecting land lines it’s should be an issue. Most of the Internet is on fiber optics. Phone lines might have some issues with older equipment. I see most of the issues will be with satellites. GPS, TV, Sat phones, etc.

No I didn’t train in Bruce’s schools but one of his fellow students that trained right along side of Bruce. Grand Master Archy (One of my favorite instructors of all time) said when he spared with Bruce he had a hard time defending against his really fast kicks. Other than that he held his own well with Bruce’s offenses. They had lots of fun sparing. Achy taught me how to break board and then bricks. I would like to try breaking river rocks someday among a few other moves like a paralyzing touch. It has the same effect as Spock’s Vulcan pinch. Though very deadly if not done properly.

No I never been to the site. It’s right behind me up on the hill? I need to go see it soon if I’m ever going to see it. Not staying in Seattle for long.
