Interview on GoDaddy Radio
I did an interview on Bob Parsons’ GoDaddy Radio Show that aired today.
Click the image below to see how to navigate and then click this link to go to the radio show.
Also, let me know what you think and let Bob know on his Twitter profile!
Here is the interview here if you don’t have Windows Media:

This was such a great interview!
I noticed the last two minutes or so did not make it to the 7:55 audio clip above – that’s a [SHAME]!
If you hear the whole interview (on the GoDaddy website), with the ending that was cut short above – you will hear Bob and Marina talk about a VERY SPECIAL attribute she possesses that not everyone knows about.
This attribute IS clearly visible in most of her vids – but you have to either look closely – or take a step back, to see it.
It’s one of her best features, I think…
Yes, her best feature is LUCK!
Laboring Under Constant Knowledge
In other words, a hard worker. Lots of hard work while having fun.
I tried to listen was late downloaded show three times still would not open???? Zhal
Hi dsfoto,
If you were trying to download the individual segment with Marina, that file is a WMA audio file. The reason for it not opening could be because you do not have the right decoder?
When you click on the large download button appearing first, that is an MP3 file and it is of the whole show.
Try this link to see if you can listen
to the MP3 version of the show.
Everybody take a moment to read The Declaration of Independence this Independence Day. (good thought from Alexis Glick)
What a match! Dementieva made me proud even in defeat.
Good Morning Marina!
I loved your interview with you and GoDaddy Bob. It’s funny how Bob starts right in on the vital statistics that is on a lot of people’s minds. I enjoyed the interview a lot and thank you for throwing kisses to your students.
P.S.
Bob’s last name is Parsons
http://www.bobparsons.me/
His name, Bob Parson’s up above s/b Bob Parsons’
After all these years, I still get his name wrong.
Look at the step-and-repeat wall paper. You’d think it was a press conference or something. Aren’t you just sick of seeing that everywhere? What’s next, lining your casket with the stuff so it looks like you are someone important that died? Sheesh!
Maybe someone on Saturday Night Live or some other comedy show will start using something ridiculous, like “Adolf Hitler, Adolf Hitler, Adolf Hitler…” and keep coming up with new ones until nobody can ever use the stuff again without laughing when see it. I think I’ll send them an E-mail suggesting that they begin a campaign to kill step-and-repeat backgrounds and see what happens.
It’s done, including an IP release. Now we will see what truly evil minds can do. (One can only hope.)
Marina, having seen the devastating nuclear wasteland left after you tried changing picture size or your socks or whatever you were doing, I thought I might make a suggestion to prevent such things from happening again. As all the comments are simply files, why not get some automatic means of saving all the files for the site to a single folder periodically, say, every 15 minutes? Then, if something should go wrong, you just pull the last snapshot out and reload all the files. Maybe Hostdime has a service that does the same thing, but saves it to another drive (in case of a disk crash). Anyway, there’s no reason to suffer such things.
PS: Did you read the missing comments?
I got started listening to it, but that dude… uh, he kinda made me think of sticking a pickle fork in my left eye
Isn’t Marina a Sweetie?
I kind of like her, and have an inkling, or a twinkling, or a something about her…
I dunno – just a feeling…
What do you guys think?
If I think it’s to remind myself not to think.
She’s a brainiac. I no longer think I’m clever anymore.
Family is leaving for the beach, the morning of July Fourth. I’m getting excited. Hopefully, they will not have any internet in our condo.
Where you going, bsomebody?
North Myrtle, Cherry (Point, Grove?) somewhere around there. I don’t know exactly, I’m just driving
, but somewhere around Myrtle Beach. My oldest son and daughter are going with their tribes, otherwise Mrs. Somebody and I head off to more isolated spots. When we go the beach, we are only interested in the beach. The grandkids like the other stuff, so we’re tagging along with them this time.
Sounds great. Would like to have gone to S. Padre myself, but not possible at this time.
You all have a Happy Fourth!
When I try to play the radio show Internet Exploder crashes and burns. Any suggestions? (Besides get a Mac).
Thanks.

Seriously? You know I’m the computer dumbass.
You are no more dumber-ass than I am. Just go to the FF link and follow the directions. Plus their icon looks a whole lot cooler than that big ol’ dumb “e” for the IE. Chemikal won’t steer you wrong.
FireFox is a browser, just like Internet Explorer. The only difference is that it’s faster, more stable, easier to use, has tabbed browsing, and it’s basically a lot better.
I encourage you to try it… download link provided above.
If you encounter any difficulties, or have any questions, please post them here without giving it much thought, we’ll be happy to answer, and generally help out in the best way we can.
Good luck.
I know you will, and I appreciate it, guys.
The tabs are the coolest…
Once upon a time I screwed up IE to the point that I couldn’t install it again and so had to go to FF. It worked fine. The only deficiency was that you couldn’t adjust it so that a new tab opened on a desired home page, such as Google. However, there was a plug-in that allowed that to work.
Its interesting you should bring that up. I have been having trouble with my computer. I called the tech and he said it sounded like the trouble alot of people have been having with the IE 8 download. He suggested I move to Fire Fox. My daughter uses it at her school and she likes it better, also. I’m back online with no problems right now, but I’m still thinking about switching to FF.(Especially after reading these posts)
Make sure you check with your internet connection company
because they may need to switch some things. My default browser is IE and the tech told me this when i spoke to him about FF.
Download segment to PC and then play it.
(See previous comment to Chemikal.)
Toward the upper right of this picture http://media.hotforwords.com/wp-content/uploads/godaddy-nav.jpg , Consider the “vertical-circle (tall oval)” in red — you will see the word download. To the left of one of those download is the word “Marina Orlova”. Go to the GoDaddy web-site and right-click on this particular download and, in the resulting menu, select “save-as or some such thing”.
Then you will have to select a location to save to. Then the saving will actually happen. You will end up with the file radio_2009_07_01_ch_03.wma. Should be able to click on this file and get it to play on your PC.
I switched from IE to FireFox a couple months ago. I have kept the IE ‘cuz I’m a big chicken, but FF has been great, so far. Lots of add-ons, but I have not really explored those, yet. I suugest to give it a whirl.
OK. Thanks, ya’ll.
Yeah, that seals it. When I get back from vacation I’m gonna switch to FF. Thanx from me, too!
Thanx from Bee to b
