Winner announced for my Lunch-Date
Congratulations to S1l3n7Hawk (I think it’s pronounced Silent Hawk) for winning the lunch-date with me. S1l3n7Hawk is invited to have a lunch date with me (my treat!) at the Beverly Hills Hotel, if he is interested in attending! I will contact him to see if he’s interested and find out if and when we can do it. If he can’t make it, I will offer it to one of the 10 followup winners.

True…I don’t ever remember winning a date b4. I think I stole one for like 10 minutes one time util the girls boyfriend came back and “asked” me to leave, but no I’ve never one a date. Enjoy I will.
You did now. fair and square. Last time I won something big it was the Chicago Blackhawks tickets I won was on February 15 at my aunt’s raffle which was 6 days away from me turning 31!.I was in the suite! I’ve had a hell of a time there!
Hope everybody has fun! I watched Marina’s lesson on how to get a date (as I understood it, teacher’s advice was to make a woman feel inadequate…commenting on her hair, whatever…weird to imagine, maybe it’s a Russian thing) so I’ve tried EVERY way I could think of to make Marina feel insecure and inadequate- no date! Duh! Oh well, guess I’ll go fly fishing instead.

News flash – I heard on the BBC that the Oxford Press will soon release the most comprehensive thesaurus ever complied. It’s vastly more comprehensive than a conventional thesaurus with 600,000 word histories and origins and took 44 years (!!!) to produce. It will be pre-released to academics and universities this week and I surely hope Marina gets the chance to review it. I heard it will also be available in electronic form. Look out Kindle!

44 years seems to be pretty fast. The Grimm Brothers started their German dictionary in 1838 and it was completed after more than 120 years in 1961.

IRL should keep her, I’ve always liked the Indy car series. Too bad they had that division the last few years. Hope they can build it up again. I’ve been to the Long Beach race, fantastic weekend show. Also went to a few of the Indycar race weekends in Vancouver. Six different classes of racing on the track (streets) all weekend, lots to see & do. They killed that venue a few years back though
F1 is a little too hot politically right now, & I’m afraid “stuck up”… kinda like an “old boys” club mentality, so it seems.
