Pics from Comic-Con

Comic-Con was SUCH A BLAST!!!!  It was SOOOO cool to meet so many of you!

It was also the first time I saw my book printed.. so that was exciting! Plus, I signed a bunch of books for you guys.. numbering which book that it was that I sold.. 1st.. 2nd..3rd.. etc!

Fellow YouTubers were at Comic Con:  Sxephil, ShayCarl, DaveDays, Natalie Tran (CommunityChannel), ClipCritics.. and so many more!  I was especially nervous to meet Natalie as I think I’m start-struck by her!!  (She is REALLY smart and so talented!)  Page-Doll came to hang out afterwards at the Hyatt and brought the real PageDoll!  That was cool!

Here are some pics from the day.  I’ll also have a video from the day, shortly.

“There are some experiences in life which should not be demanded twice from any man, and one of them is listening to the Brahms Requiem.” – George Bernard Shaw 1856-1950

“I wouldn’t take a million dollars for the memories and I wouldn’t give you a nickel to do it again!”

Great pics, M. Too bad you couldn’t match names to faces. Hope everybody had fun. I imagine if you had a picture of you and PageDoll together, we could’ve all had a new screen saver :!:

BTW-Did the lunch date with NightStalker :?: already happen? :???: I’ve been out of pocket…

      Quote
“And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him.” – Revelation 6:8 J.CaSH…”WHen the Man Comes Around”…lets rock :!:  heavy

      • And remember, dear fellow and fellowettes scholars and students. Death IS NOT your expiration date. It’s just a lunch date.. erm.. I mean a dance date, a date with your expiration.

“They were the first to discover that this planet had an expiration date. And remember. You heard it first from Charlie Frost.” – Charlie Frost

        • “There we were at rip and tuck, up one tree and down another.”

The first known usage of ‘nip and tuck’ comes from an 1845 edition of The American Whig Review:

“The boys used to say, it was nip and tuck between Jack… and Castro, who would do the most foolhardy things.”

“For centuries the Chinese used an ancient curse: ‘May you live in interesting times!’ It isn’t a curse any more. It’s a blessing.”

And does anyone know what Camera was used? I’m guessing it’s a Canon from the file nomenclature, but I’m not exactly sure.

I found it rather difficult to concentrate while talking with teacher because this song was playing so loudly in my head!

    • That’s funny, because when I first found Marina’s YouTube channel and saw “Hot For Words” written at the top, the song “Hot For Teacher” by Van Halen started playing in my head for some reason. :|

It would be nice to see some names for all these faces.

Actually, I think N’tran has been explicitly bitchassey about HotForWords on twitter with attempts at generating animosity toward HotForWords among her twitter followers. I suspect Marina pwned her at the meet.

    To PageDoll:

Well done on keeping Borat and his Wedding Sack away from the Hyatt! We all owe you a debt of gratitude (although I can’t speak for Alex…)

    Dear Marina,
Thank you for posting so many photos. It;s nice to see so many of your subscribers. I wonder why so many of us are overweight? Does spending lots of time on the Internet turn you into a blimp? Thank goodness I have other projects, like trying to learn a foreign language!
I hope you have a wonderful time in Greece!

Cool pics. I don’t know if it was intentional, but in most of the ones taken with your visitors, Marina was bathed in sunshine whilst the other party(s) were in shade. It made her seem like she was wearing a halo, or the sun was shining out of her … eyes.

You took a lot of pics there Lady M!

Marina, three clicks to look at a zoomed in version of one picture is too painful — and I don’t have that much time! Won’t you add links to .jpgs below so that one may rapidly view all the pics?
