Virtual Reality Mykonos

HotForWords-Mykonos-1280

I just landed in Mykonos, Greece and here is the view from the villa where I am staying.  This is my first time here and it is so beautiful!  I wish you all could be here with me!

So let’s try some virtual reality here!  Click the pic above and listen to the player below and pretend you are here with me :-)  I know.. a lame attempt at virtual reality, but worth a try!

you could have said something – we would have given tips
I would also plead that you came to Thessaloniki

while in Mykonos, make sure to check beaches like Psarou and Super Paradise – you might stumble upon some celebrities

you should also take a pic with the famous pelican called Petros

Filia kai kala na peraseis <– that's greek ;-)

  4. errol says:

Very nice. I feel like I am there.

  5. got2bme says:

I heard that same sound before… I had my ear up close to a big sea shell… on the sea shore.

  6. Virtual reality is all very well Marina, but you can’t beat the real thing, and after all, Mykonos is famous for it’s nudist beaches, will you be making any vids there. ?

  7. pat says:

you and the ocean are both very hypnotizing.

  8. tonyb says:

I cannot get over how beautiful and white you are!!! And you are nice and slim, too!! You just turn me on!!!

  9. tonyb says:

I think the shot of you is very sexy. But the shot of the blue aquamarine sea is likewise beautiful. Mom had working on our rental house some nazi hillbilly stupid redneck fellow; and while I was watching the travel channel visiting Mykonos, they had greek musicians playing the mandolin in the background. And that Spieker guy started getting enraged at the music he loudly says I HATE RUSSIAN MUSIC!!!! Too bad for speiker, I like THE VOICE OF RUSSIA, too. That dude some idiot. His assitant floyd got enraged when I had a Voice of Russia pocket calendar on the kitchen table by accident. It had a picture of what I think was the Kremlin or Red Square!!!

    • tonyb says:

I made this remark the day before and Lo and behold mom has Speiker over again to do an estimate on some remodelling work. Talk about the devil, I say. He made an excuse to walk through my home office a couple of times as well. My mom was aloof to my two brothers giving me bullcrap after I had had a nervous breakdown in college in 1986,

  10. veritanuda says:

Oh fly me high over the summer sands,
With blue waves crashing upon the shore,
Living the dream’s dream of us holding hands,
While walking and talking and so much more.

Night night Marina. Wish I was there :)

  11. CheVolay says:

Boy the trouble you go through to find the origins of words.

  12. PageDoll says:

I am soooo there and we’re flying a kite. A big kite…Oh No! Theres to much wind and the kite is starting to drag me! Quick, grab my feet!

  13. dsfoto says:

  14. benni says:

  15. leoNard says:

NICE like  air waving with WATER  ears R full

  16. Surprised by the sound effects. The crashing waves reminded me it’s time to take a break.

Care to share how you applied the sound effect?

And, beware of Greeks baring gifts!

      Hi pig-in-a-poke,
The ocean waves come from the music player above, just below the photo of Marina. The player is in auto-play and does an automatic rewind at the end. Just hit the play button for more fantasies.

    • Bob says:

I thought it was illegal to bare your gifts in Greece. These days, they are not as liberal as they were when they started the Olympic Games.

      • Hs4Mm says:

Where did you hear that? I have run into a different view, viz., that it is OK to bring gifts of twig, olives, coconuts and vanilla to the beaches in Mykonos. But it seems they have a hard time judging the value of the gifts … so they only exchange literally-like gifts: someone who brings twig and olives will only exchange gifts with someone else who also brings twig and olives etc.

      • ;-) Doubtless correct Bob, in general it is quite a conservative country, and that sort of thing would probably get you quickly arrested in most parts of the country, but Mykonos has been famous for it’s nude beaches since at least the 1970′s, Paradise beach , and Super Paradise beach, and others, for example, they even have special areas exclusively for gays.

        • Oh no !, what a faux pas, and on a site like this one of all places.

A beach can’t be nude !, but it can be a nudist beach.

The wig is a bit of a bugger in that heat though, but the magnifying glass comes in very handy.

        • Bob says:

I see I opened a can of worms (or maybe someone’s box) with my post above.
Good that the gays and the … glums(?) separate themselves. Makes it easier not to get trapped.
BTW I see that you have changed your log-in name to distinguish yourself from your namesake, however, he is also in the UK so further differentiation is needed.
Take care not to set your book on fire with that spy glass. The sun is hot enough to melt Greece.

  17. beevee14 says:

    Really beautiful(and loud :!:  )

I’m going to St.Augustine, Fla next week. When I get back we can compare tan lines  ;-)
I love playing sports(football, volleyball, etc.) on the beach. I wonder if they play sports on the beach in Greece?

  18. BigBhd95 says:

  22. Hs4Mm says:

How come you didn’t make a desktop pic out of yourself (the mykonos-day1.jpg)?

That’s the sound from inside your room? — I’ve never heard the sea so loud from that far!

  23. Gerald III says:

Oh, what an absolutely breathtaking view. I would love to go all over Europe and just fill up a few 16GB CF cards worth of images.

I’m pretending that we are laying on lounge chairs on the beach soaking up the sun (well you are anyways. I have my shirt on because I don’t want to emotionally scar anyone for life). We are discussing music, and I make very corny jokes in the form of stories with song titles/lyrics as the punch lines. You simply shake your head and sigh.
