As for the pronunciation of sheik, that may depend on whom you ask. I’ve heard some people pronouncing the word sheik more like “shake” instead of “chic.” Maybe it’s [colloquial], who knows. I agree, though. [Chic] could be a good lesson. And Marina is just the sort of person that could show us the real meaning with her customary verve and [aplomb].

Well, Vrock, Utube is never far away, and you know what kind of comments get posted there whenever there’s the slightest suggestion of erotica (cleavage, a smile, dancing, a “naughty” word, etc.) so don’t beat yourself up too hard, bro.
Besides, we’re learning. Not only are we learning how to understand more words and their correct origins and usage, but also how to successfully (or respectfully) interact with our fellow classmates as well as other beings with which we share this little blue planet. It can be a cold harsh place, or a welcoming community depending on how we speak and act toward others. But you knew that already.
Don’t [fret] too much about our dear teacher and how she has to sift through the ashes for those precious few glowing embers. We all do, for the time we get to spend here.

I just noticed that YouTube’s Home page is crippled where almost all of the various display sections are gone. Right now there are only 3 sections; Featured, Promoted (at right) and an Ad at the top. Normally, there would be several more sections and a list of the Popular categories.
When viewing the Popular pages or other Honors boards, it does not show any video thumbnails. Either YT is doing some tweaks to the site or they may have been a victim of the latest Twitter event?
The issue is observed on several browsers with cleared caches.
YouTube is aware of the problem and is working on it as we speak.

Hey Karl,I am going to ask you a tech ?. How do you change your gravatar image. I obviously have a gravatar account where I put my image on here in the first place. I uploaded a new image on the gravatar site and chose that one to represent my e-mail address and confirmed it, but it doesn’t show up on HFW even after fifteen minutes or so, I first signed up using a PC but I have a MacBook now. Do you have a troubleshooting tip?

I had to clear my cache in FireFox to make sure I was seeing a clean result. What I see is this;
I see a portrait of you, long hair in both comments here and I see the exactly the same pic over at the far right. In other words, everything is synchronized. So, is the portrait your latest gravatar image then and the tron image is the older one?
When you change your gravatar and wait 15 min, then you also want to make sure to clear your own browser cache in order to see the latest clean results.
