Hi guys!! The turnout at the book signing was AMAZING!!! I got some great footage, so I will be posting that as soon as I get back to LA and edit it! It was so great to meet you all! Thank you so much for coming out!
For those of you who got my book, can you please go to Amazon and rate/review the book for me? One lady reviewed it, and she doesn’t even own the book as she states in the review, so I’d like to have an actual review of my book on Amazon.

I left a review of Marina’s book on Amazon less than 24 hours ago and it is not public yet. Amazon says that a review will be published within 48 hours.
If someone were to create an Amazon account just to leave a review, one won’t be able to review a book unless one has made a purchase. Then, there is the issue of privacy. Some people may not want their real names shown if they already have an account. One can chose a nickname in the public profile and it looks like Amazon has been trying to compete with the likes of Facebook and MySpace.
Where do I find the time to send your mother fragrance from the French Riviera, pound a Porsche Turbo 1000 miles-from San Simeon CA to Page, AZ- in two days and write stuff like this at 12:45am (as posted on Amazon):
As an author myself, I regard Marina Orlova’s book as a collector item because it marks the hybridization of Hot for Words, as Marina transitions from being a purely digital product online to being available to a wider audience (in this most appropriate traditional print medium…a book!) Sure, she’s kind of “hot” (like somebody’s little sister on steroids) but Marina is NOT “eye candy”. I happen to be the online fan who first called her BRAIN CANDY! Marina’s book conveys what her millions of online fans have enjoyed for two years now… as she has worked hard to develop, improve and broaden her skills as a teacher of word origins in fun, entertaining and educationally valid ways. The book information is on the Twitter link. I didn’t reply to multiple requests about “What have you written” because I didn’t want to be pitching product on HotForWords without paying for it as an advertiser. I thought I’d advertise on H4W’s, even though doing so would basically be doing Ms Orlova a financial favor since the book’s signed/numbered first edition is essentially pre-sold to USAF personnel, government and political (maybe one to Captain Jack since he’s read the portion with the nuclear terrorist attack on Marina Del Rey.) I’m happy that H4W’s is now at a commercial level where advertising a “fan” product (for shoe money on Melrose) isn’t likely to be of interest to anybody. So, with a 230,000 word manuscript now about to be formatted for publication and everything else that’s involved, I’ll just go away now- stop posting and participating in this site at all. As a courtesy, I’ll contact the the H4W advertising link for rate information. And Marina, like I said in the letter I sent with the fragrance for your Mom, I’ll understand if you’re too busy to have lunch when I come to LA in January for my pitch meetings. It’s been fun watching your development- since you were doing personal appearances for $6,000. Glad so many of my ideas were used (ie doing political words last year on TV as an opening to Billo) and I wish you and everybody who’s working with you all the very best. Although the books are smaller than I expected, I looked through one and enjoyed it very much! (You didn’t think I bought the book for it’s well-written articles, did you?) The photos looked great, and the quality of printing was, good, too. I’ll go to that Amazon site and post a nice review!

I just went to Amazon.com and tagged the review as ‘not helpful’. I’ll write my own review once the book arrives.
Unfortunately I have to agree with the thoughts of the reviewer. The hot body photos dissuaded me from buying your calendar. I would have felt embarrassed hanging it on my wall. I hope I feel differently about the book.

I’m thinking about buying the book, but I’m afraid of my conscience’s reaction. If I have sudden remorse because of some pictures, I’ll cover them with sticked pieces of paper
I have a very unstable conscience and something that seems innocent to me one day may be perceived by me as impure another day.
I’m a big fan of Marina and I praise myself for watching her videos without any impure thoughts, just for fun and for learning interesting things (to the contrary to many male commenters on YouTube
) But what I’ll do when I withdraw from SSRI’s, which gave me that blessed peace? I will resign watching vids, but it would be a pity to throw the book into a garbage can. It would be simply a sacrilege 
But I must protect myself from any possibility, not even actuality, but just possibility of any not 100%-innocent though onset. No improper emotions are allowed to creep upon me.
So, to buy or not to buy, that is the Question.

When I read the whole book, I think I’ll write something about and add a review to Amazon. I’ve just skimmed the content and read a few entries till now coz I’m really busy, tired and depressed these days. The first impression is that the text is better than the photos. I must admit that I don’t enjoy these photos at all, according to my impression the girl in them seems to looks even kinda plain (sorry Marina, I don’t mean to hurt you). If I weren’t so depressed, my impression would be different, I think. But I didn’t buy the book for pics, so I’m rather content with it. 
Under some circumstances, that SSRI side-effect can be quite liberating.

I noticed that you are new here and I wanted to welcome you to the HotForWords site. I have read all of your comments here and over in the Forum. I just wanted to make you feel at ease as your English is perfect. You don’t have a thing to worry about. Even as native English speakers, we are sometimes misunderstood as the written word does not include other hints about our communication such as body language. So, smileys help in that regard.
I noticed that you are from Poland. In terms of “Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon”, you and I are probably removed by one degree or less.
Also, I don’t know if you are aware of the music group Endorphine from Poland. Marina has used their music in her videos and you can listen to the music by clicking the Music navigation link at the very top of the page. There are two musical pieces called “Smuga” and “Taczanka”.
As far as the struggle with your conscience goes and not disrupting your serenity and blessed peace, I can say that the photos in Marina’s book were tastefully done and your peaceful conscience should stay intact. The photos are similar to what you may see in a catalog of woman’s clothing, sportswear, swimwear and negligees.
I can understand the idea of temptation, but keep in mind, that which gave you peace to begin with, your brain, can also be used to harness the power of those beautiful photos of Marina and allow you to achieve even further and deeper states of blissful consciousness. Of course, you are in control in terms of what you chose to look at and what not to look at, but, you are also in control in how you might react in whatever images are presented to you. I have been watching Marina for over two years now and I can assure you that Marina is a pure joy and bliss.
Yes, I found the link to the website of this group by some videos, but I hadn’t heard about them before. The group Endorphine is little known in Poland, it’s not mainstream.
