Re: Mischievous
what about caput vs cappice?
Kudos as always, Marina. Love it.
Wonderful news! Thank God the Bank of Moscow and Finance Minister Alexey Kudrin are getting along again!
Hi Wyo!
I have noticed you at this site, and you’ve responded to some of my posts.
I apologize for not responding to you sooner.
I know we share a strong admiration for Marina, and the amazing things she has been able to accomplish with the whole ‘HotforWords’ thing.
I love being here, the friendships I’ve made, and so forth…
I would like to create sort of a coodinated front to help Marina.
There are many people here who have the same purpose…you have many helpers if you want.
Start a Forum topic and see what comes of it?
Jody
Hi Jody,
You’re nice to want to help her.
Maybe you have an idea for a forum topic that would serve that purpose. I don’t.
I came up with HotForStuff.com in October as a way to unite fans around the consumption of things she uses and likes. But since its html style is an embarrassment to her and I don’t have the time or energy to develop it (as I’m launching my novel in December) I’m pretty unconcerned about HFW. I don’t even warrant an answer about advertising the book on the HFW site. Life goes on. John
Are you proud when they write about you in your homeland? I would like to see some black and whites of you.
The water Marina drinks is a gift !!!…..[SOUL]+=+[SMART]…indoors and outdoors, open doors get closed
Here is a Google translation of the above PDF.
Since I don’t read or speak Russian (but I am a student), I may have missed some subtleties or may have made other errors.
The title at the top:
Секрет успеха Американская мечта на практике
The secret of success. The American dream in practice
by: Andrei Kotov
Urozhenka Nizhny Novgorod,
Marina Orlova, became the most famous teacher of the planet. Several years ago, obtaining a diploma of higher education, Marina went to America, where she joined a nurse in the family.
In 2007, Marina had an idea, which later brought her a huge success. At a certain portal youtube.com she opened her own video blog called hotforwords ( «hot for words”), which has put a video on English words. In each of her releases as a teacher, Marina says, where there was a particular word in the English language. Marina, philologist by education, but her success it must not only be because of her knowledge, but also the exterior (the way she physically presents herself).
Being a charming blonde, she captivates her audience the beauty, expressiveness and unusually seductive. Special flair attached to her Russian accent, which Marina is not trying to get rid of, considering the emphasis certain charm.
Since the channel number of viewers and subscribers grew rapidly. YouTube made Marina their partner, listing her 56% profit from ads placed on the channel and in viderolikah. Currently the total number of channel views, more than a quarter of a billion, making Marina a millionaire.
Early Marina filmed lessons on webcam. Now she has a whole studio with professional equipment for shooting and editing. On the creation of a roller leaves seven o’clock working hours. All work on shooting and editing she performs itself, but does not exclude that in the future will have to expand and hire a crew gruppu.
Marina often invited to TV and radio. She is a regular guest with popular hosts Bill O’Reilly in the transfer of The O’Reilly Factor. Live Marina tells about the origin of English words. According to Marina, to recognize in public places, it became increasingly due to this transfer, and even learn to golosu.
Seychas (separated, separately?) Marina lives in Los Angeles at Beverly Hills. She released a book «Hot For Words», presentation of which was successfully held in New York. Marina is not going to stop there. Already, the producers think of the new transmission, which would lead Marina. And soon we can learn more about Marina Orlova, and as a television star.

thank you my friend
You’re welcome leonard,
After I posted the translation and then waited and re-read it, I saw a few translation errors I should have caught and corrected. With a little more time I could have cleaned it up a bit more also, but the translation came out good for a first pass.
Thank you kindly, PK.
Ты Добро пожаловать,
I mean you’re welcome Rick.
(Sigh…) Dang show-off.
I know just about every dirty Tex-Mex word there is. So there!
I’m sorta bi-cunnilingual.
I have tried every translator I know and can’t get it to translate to English.
Mike, I am able to translate it.
It’ll take me a little while to copy it, transliterate where needed.
I should have a translation up in about 45 min or less.
Thanks Karl.
You’re some little girl’s idle over there in Russia.
