My Game @ PopSugar / TechCrunch Event

The PopSugar/TechCrunch event was a lot of fun! We didn’t get a chance to broadcast live as it was so LOUD.. but we did record some fun games where I asked people to guess the correct word origins of a couple words.

coComment was my sponsor and they were terrific! You really should use their plugin to keep track of the comments you make all over the web.

Live Blogging From PopSugar / TechCrunch Event

Hey everyone, I will be blogging LIVE from the PopSugar/TechCrunch event in Los Angeles this Thursday evening (April 10th from 8PM PST on!)

I will be blogging at the coComment website - the link is here.

Be sure to sign up for a coComment account prior to the event so that you can participate.  I actually use coComment to keep track of all my comments I leave all over the web.. it’s pretty cool actually

Go over to my blog over there and leave a few comments… and PLEASE join me while the event is going on!  I will be asking people some funny word origins.. and videotaping it.. and we will be uploading that video as well as some answer videos afterwards.

Update: The event went really well…. it was so packed that we couldn’t broadcast live but we recorded a bunch of interviews.  We will be uploading them shortly.  I’ll let you know as soon as I know the details.

New stuff on the website

I chose the most heavily trafficked day for my website to add some new stuff, but hey.. it seems to have worked out!

Speaking of heavily trafficked.. how about yours truly having the #1 video most of the day, just ahead of the founders of Google, Sergey Brin and Larry Page.. and the #8 video at the same time!  Crazy huh?

Anyway… I added a couple new things to the website…. first off.. you can have these cute pictures next to your comments now.  They are called “gravatars” which are Globally Recognized Avatars would that be part acronym part portmanteau?  You can find out how to add one to your account by going to the new HELP section that I have also added.  It’s in the menu, upper right.  Or you can click here.

That’s it.  I hope you have been enjoying my lessons.
