I want to see how it looks reduced. It looks messed up when my Paint Shop Pro program reduces it. <img src="http://i48.tinypic.com/t0rjpi.jpg"> Yeah, it doesn't reduce very well. The program doesn't know how thick the horizontal lines should be, so the choice is for inconsistency, supposedly it's better to be half wrong than fully wrong, which usually works for me, with this as an exception. He preferred the real thin bottles that he could stash in the arm of his faux leather jacket. Anyhow, we handed him the bong, and he looked at it, and tipped it up to start drinking the fluid. You are probably paying for a 1.5 Mb/s connection and so the download speed that you are seeing would be consistent with what you are paying for. You may or may not know that the web based speed monitors will never be able to register your actual speed. Only a speed monitor located on your PC can do that. For example: (I'm located in S. Calif, LA area) I am paying for a 3 Mb/s DSL connection and using the link you provided, I get: Download: 2553 kbps Upload: 429 kbps I also use NetPerSec to monitor my downloads. It registers my download speed exactly at 3000 kbps, which is what I am paying for. NetPerSec is no longer free and you can find it on the web. Presuming that there is nothing wrong with your PC or other issues, then to increase your Internet downloads, you would need to get a faster connection like I have. I could even pay for a 6 Mb/s connection, but I don't need it as I am able to watch all HD videos without stuttering. John, regarding your statement: "... in the beginning it was good..." How good is good? Was your measured download speed higher then, than what it is now? How much difference? How long have you had your connection? What is it? DSL? Cable? Lots of things can affect speed. My local community is constantly growing and the telephone guy is constantly adding and moving cables at corner B-box. Sometimes they mess up where lines get crossed, get cut and diminish the performance.
