Advertising the Forum.

    I think it would be good for Marina to try and get more people to realise the forums is the best way to get in contact with Marina. I think one way to get the peoples attention is to do a video on the word forum, which means a place where you can exchange ideas. So to get more people to come to the forums is to make it the offical section where words can be suggested.

    Great idea CH. There needs to be a bit more structure to the forums too. Maybe a reason that people don't come here much is that there are no instructions and rules to follow, so they feel timid about posting anything in case they are told off for putting it in the wrong place. The word, sentence and picture games are used fairly frequently as it's pretty obvious what goes on there.
    Also, as you point out, people may not realise the forums are here if they only read the comments sections of the lessons. I've only just discovered the "Cafeteria" section which has been opened to allow off topic discussions to be held without cluttering up the lesson comments with irrelevant subjects.

    @classical_hero: Part of Marina's presentation is to allow things to flow organically.
    The current setup let's her pick up on her word requests from emails / main page.
    @Bob: The kids are just having fun playing. Fun and games, y'know? I notice you like
    to post to many of the erstwhile games, and with some skill, that I've seen.
    You are welcome to add a forum for any relevant topic you wish. The only structure
    is the common sense rules as one would use at the local pub ( Politics, Religion, Philosophy, and other baggage are to be left at the door, thank you ).
    I started one for a "Gay" word origin discussion. Not much going on in there...
    Hey! How about a real irrelevant game, like 1,000,000 botlles of beer on the wall?

    It's true. Kids love fun&games. When class time is over we put the toys and crayons and letter blocks away because we respect teacher.

    1,000,000 bottles of beer on the wall, 1,000,000 bottles of beer...take one down, pass it around, 999,999 bottles of beer on the wall...
