Marina has given us some really nifty new HTML toys to play with, and I thought it would be nifty to have a place for us to practise & maybe learn some new tricks. Have fun guys!

{mental note... remember to keep images small for posting here}
Posted 11 months ago # -
So Fianchetto how did you do that?
Posted 11 months ago # -
@Che Click the "center" button, then the "IMG" button above the edit window, enter URL in popup window, then click the "/center" button. For the text, I clicked the "I", typed the text, then clicked the "/I"
Happy HTML-ing!
This image is rather large - for posting in the regular forum, I would link to it if I couldn't make it smaller, so as not to disrupt the "flow" of the thread, as I did in the word game.

@Che's recent twitter: Hahahaha! - Happy to have helped hamper any hinderances to your HotForWords happiness!

Yes, yes you sure did help Fianchetto (now if you want to help with my laundry in the hamper......)

@Che: Just sent the whole bundle of it as an email attachment (please use file compression) and I'll take care of it right away, press, fold, re-comress and send it back. Starch on your collar, or not?

@Fianchetto are you playing with the 'LI' button, cause I don't know how to use that?
Posted 11 months ago # -
@ Che - {"LI" item "/LI"} is to be nested within "UL" and "/UL" or within "OL" and "/OL" to automatically add bullets or numbers (respectively) to the items you are listing. To make the bulleted example, I entered:
"UL" "LI"itemA"/LI" "LI"itemC"/LI" "LI"itemB"/LI" "LI"itemD"/LI" "/UL"
and for the numbered example:
"OL" "LI"itemA"/LI" "LI"itemB"/LI" "LI"itemC"/LI" "LI"itemD"/LI" "/OL"
Additionally:
"LI" and "/LI" will be changed to "*" and "/*" when clicked
as well, "UL" will become "list"
"OL" ==> "list=1"
"/UL" ==> "/list"
"/OL" ==> "/list"

@Marina
I notice that some of my links posted here are, now rather than the intended re-named URL, have become embedded video players. Can there be a way to differentiate so the poster may choose whether to have a link displayed or embedded video player, similar to the choice between displaying an image versus a link to the image?
Thanks again for this really neat place to play with my friends!
Happy Birthday, too!
