Pet Sematary is super. Stephen King writes so well..

I have tons of movies that I have enjoyed, but somehow one that seems so close to reality is even cryptic in a sense. Being able to change events by seeing into the future and altering them is a phenomenal look into what is believed some are able to do, or can they??

Rosemary's Baby took me to the edge of a breakdown from paranoia. Even though I think the end is far fetched, the first half really scares me. Helter Skelter and the Amityville Horror are the scariest books I've read. The reality of the Manson thing scares the crap out of me. In Amityville the intense paranormal activities and possesion factors also kept me looking over my shoulder along time after reading them. Favorite scary song:Dracula's Deuce by the Ghouls.

    Gargoyles

Gargoyles is one of those early horror movies, and I just found it tonight. I thought it was pretty scary back in the day.

The Whisperer in Darkness - Teaser trailer for the upcoming film from HPLHS Motion Pictures

    note from presenter (shoggothsean):

The movie is now about 95% shot. We need to finish the remaining shots, edit it, do special effects work, music, etc... We're estimating having it done around late spring of 2010

I liked Edgar Allen Poe in high school becuase he wrote short stories and I used to enjoy a short story as opposed to a long book. But later my temperment changed. Those stories allways had a weird twist to them. On the Soporanos once on A and E, Anthony's son's college friend was talking to him about an essay about Edgar Allen Poe. and Anthony confused Edgar Allen Poe with Vincent Price. In high school I used to do that too. But I undestand by now that a writer puts words into the mouths of the actors like they were puppets, and like God puts words into the mouths of his prophets.

I oculd not find your Dreams column. And this dream was about Marina and it was not anything bad. She and I were talking together. And I was showing her my shortwave radio QSL file folders Radio Receptiion Verification Cards. I got the idea of putting them in plastic pages whichis kind of sexy to me, too. Ladies in clear plastic look sexy to me. I had been buying from 20th Centruy Plastics on Crenshaw Blvd. in LA these clear plastic pages to store my 35mm slides and negatives. And I saw they had other size pockets for baseball cards. so I took out my ruler and measured the size of my QSL cards to estimate what the average size of a shortwave radio QSL postcard was. And I began to store them in a nice neat 3 ring binder and the plastic pages. I do feel less inhibitaed to say I get excited by girls in plastic as Yahoo has a PVC dreams photo gallery and some of the photos are alright. One of the girls looks like the brown haired daughter of Christine's uncle Al Vincent who is a Sherrif's deputy. My fomer wife looked sexy in a clear plastic dry cleaning bag. ON Radio Ireland on WRN.org they reported that some girl rock band performed on stage in pink PVC plastic costumes. I guess like Panasonic I was just slightly ahead of my time. In my dream Marina seemed to be sobbing HOW DARE YOU WALK OUT OF MY LECTURES EARLY. I never gagged my ex swife. i did begin to tie her hands behind her back as she had the annoying habit of grabbing my "love handles" as we were having sex and that really irritated me! the only time she would wear any makeup was when she wanted sex. I used to fuck her with the lights on in the bedroom as I amsuch a visual man. but I never took any erotic photos of her. and I did not have a 35mm camera between 1977-1983. the recession/depression and the fact that I sold my Minolta SRT 201 to my dad to be able to afford to take my ex-wife to the senior prom. I have Tonybernhoffer's Blog on Wordpress.com. Just last night I posted a short zippy SLIDE ga;;ery on it, contrasting how well to do my former wife's family is compared to me and my poor mom living on Chase street in a small rented house. When mhy dad died I got my Minolta camera back. Back then he would not give it back as he told me he was "saving me from myself." I quit the Pantheon theatre job in 1977 because Mr. Clinger began showing X-rated movies and I was just 17 and did not want any dirty businessmen hitting on me when I was alone at night in the theatre at closing. Sex does not seem dirty at all when you get married. I even began to look more at PLAYBOY to get ideas about things to make Chrstine look more sexy like those thigh high nylons and a garter belt for her. And even a pair that had the line that ran up the back like in the Van Halen song. EVERYBODY WANTS SOME! I have no dirty photos on my galleries and I only play folk music for now. But in 1993 I had a few dreams suggesting that if I bought an electric guitar I would becoome real popular with the ladies. I was only able to afford a guitar last year and an accoustic one so mom did not get upset.
And I am quite sure that Marina looks sexy enough for me with her nice body and her makeup and would not expect to need to bag Marina to get myself off. But living with Marina was just "In My Dreams" so to speak. We used to use that French expression Deja Vu in high school sometimes-like it was in a dream. But now I get literal dreams which may truly end up coming true.

IN the summer of 1988 I was passing out Billy Graham apocalypse brochure RUSHING TOWARDS THE END. The guy on the cover if it carrying a briefcase looked a bit like my former boss Barry Hamilton from Escast-"spycast" in Waterville, Ohio. they must have been watching me in secret. Because I heard on WWJ AM 950 that a man who worked at the Canon Muskegon foundary which is affiliated to Escast and Sealed Power, had flipped out over the apocalypse, nuclear armageddon, the end of the world; and he threw his young son a daughter into a giant foundary furnace in that Muskegon plant and burned his two children alive to spare them the horrors of armageddon. I reckoned God was paying back some foes in a macabre kind of way. Oh boy, Jesus!

Another man at the Sealed Power/Escast "spycast" foundary used to mock me when I used to conduct business in the production area. Calling me FLOUNDER from Animal House when I used to think I was a bit like BLUTO (jOHN BELUSHI). the man worked with a high speed metal cutting diamond saw. they said he accidentally sawed his hand down to the wrist mabe because he was high on dope! i THINK in retrospect God had punished the man for mocking me!

One of the biggest things that have ever happened on radio, then made into a movie is a radio broadcast.

For those who want to watch the old version on youtube, here is the link

    War of the worlds movie

It is amazing that so many people had actually thought an invasion from Mars or from another planet was happening. The radio broadcast is the best really. Sure, the movies are good, but I think to be in that time, when the radio broadcast was happening, to see the paranoia, it had to be amazing.

Even when world war broke out, their was never that kind of a rush of fear, and it changed the way people looked at things from that point on.

    Saṃsāra

Among Buddhists, all living beings are born into one of the six states of existence (Samsara in Sanskrit, the cycle of life and death). All are trapped in this wheel of life, as the Tibetans call it. All beings within the six realms are doomed to death and rebirth in a recurring cycle over countless ages -- unless they can break free from desire and attain enlightenment. Further, upon death, all beings are reborn into a lower or a higher realm depending on their actions while still alive.
