    This is a fun video.
Everyone has got to see this. This is another very favorite video lesson of mine.
Marina --> starts off by talking in sniglets
and then gives a historical account of where the word comes from. Also, one of the most important reasons why I love all of Marina's videos is because of her delivery. I've watched other hot chick flicks videos where the delivery was soooo booooring I fell asleep in one minute. Marina's presentation and delivery is so very charming, personable, dynamic and passionate, I dare not even blink. Marina's video lessons are riveting and exciting. I love them.

    I'm detruncus! (Sniglet)

One of my favorite lessons videos (I can't believe I forgot this one!) doesn't even exist any more and wasn't created by Marina!

    How many of you remember:

My sister is an attention whore!

    By Hot4Words

    I'm the philologist! She's FAKE!

Sister's rant, OH YEAH! It shocked me the first time I watched it! But, I saw it over and over again and I LOVED IT!!! I wish Marina would let her "sister" re-upload it! I would love to watch it again!

The reason that I like this particular lesson is because Marina gets to the root of the issue of why we have mispronounced the word forte as the French and Italian word forte have similar meanings, but are used in different contexts and have different pronunciation. This is one of those overlooked lessons, but a very powerful lessons.

My fav lesson is Peekaboo, although I especially liked Marina's Hawaiian vids, too.

I was a little disappointed to see that uTube only saved one hundred Hot4Words lessons, extending back to only Jan. 2009.

What do you mean by "Hot4Words"?
"Hot4Words" is another Marina/Marina's sister YT channel which only contains 3 videos which is a different channel than HotForWords

What do you mean by "uTube only saved one hundred ... lessons?"
The HotForWords YT channel contains all 475 videos going back to the very first video Marina ever made which is the Philology lesson published March 02, 2007

This is the link to the video page containing the first videos.
Notice the 455 in the link? Since there are 20 videos per page and there are a total of 475 videos, then subtracting 20 from 475 will give you the page start of that group of videos. Plug in a different number to jump to a particular video page. You can also use the page numbers at the bottom.

Whattaya mean "Marina/Marina's sister"?" I'll need a link for that because I looked up "Hot4Words" at uTube and got a bunch of misc vids. Thanks for the URL to the 475 videos. The route I took last night at uTube took me to a page that only listed 100, and it looked completely different (...how'd I get there?...hmmm...), oh okay, I got there by clicking on my uTube subscriptions list, and by clicking hotforwards, and I got a list containing just 100 of her videos. BTW- my subcriptions list is rather short: (hotforwords, communitychannel, and TheUltimateJew) Just familiarizing myself with the buttons on this post reply form. Here's the pic I wanted to include with my Peekaboo response above.

OK, I see how you got there. What you want to do is go right to the channel itself. There are two different channels. HotForWords and Hot4Words
Tack on those usernames to the YouTube.com URL and you are there.
    http://www.youtube.com/HotForWords
    http://www.youtube.com/Hot4Words

You'll notice that the Hot4Words channel looks different. That is the new YouTube design. The new design was supposed to have been rolled out July 15 and has now been delayed.

Look at cufan71's post up above on this page. Notice that he is referring to Marina's sister who made a video called, "My sister is an attention whore!" In that video, Marina's sister was going to reveal everything about Marina. The video is no longer available. I have it safely tucked away. It's a doozie.

"Choosing the outfits for the photo shoot tomorrow. Any advice?"
Well, I might as well chose six favorite videos and clothing selections to boot

I really enjoyed this lesson hosted on the Amazon site. Another favorite of mine.
This is a great lesson on the origin of the word Amazon.

    Good choices folks!

Always thought HotForWord's google video should have gotten more views. Notice the interesting way in which it is presented:

Google was a mistake or I 10 duotrigintillioned you!

Yes, that is a great selection, and you are right, I do like the way it is presented. It looks like Marina is standing in the kitchen and just talking to me. She wasn't talking to you too, was she? Anyway, I liked the way Marina weaved the story and it was very captivating. I think Marina is very versatile and she could even start another channel called, HotForBedTimeStories where she tells stories just like the Google video above, of course just for me.

Another favorite lesson of mine is the video lesson on the word "novel"
located on the Barnes & Nobel site.

Scroll down the Barnes & Nobel page and the video
is towards the middle right. You can also order the book there.

I think Watch and Pusillanimous are tied for first or second. I cannot decide, but maybe second as I think for first place I'm pretty sure I'm going to say is not a lessson but a field trip Marina took ...smoooth, to-the-jacuuuzzi...with Bai Ling. I'm going under the hood to have another look. . .
    .
    .
***After further review, Marina & Bai in the Jacuzzi wins***
    .
    .
I think. Whatever the order, I'm more of an old school student who prefers the flavor of the more raw, longer classes back when Marina was just your average, ordinary, hot, russian girl-next-door fooling around with a camera in her SoCal apartment, sitting on the corner of her bed, or on the floor, with random interuptions by Gorby, and every now and then arguments with her off-camera seester.

    --Watch-- http://www.hotforwords.com/2008/09/08/watch/
While she's always pretty, here her makeup looks the best and I like her rationale for and mannerisms during explaining why sometimes she wears watches, and the narrowed-eyed look thereafter she gives.

    --Pusillanimous--
    http://www.hotforwords.com/2009/02/26/some-retro-hotforwords-for-my-2-year-anniversary/
Because I'm a sucker for straight bangs and beer-maiden pigtails on girls in porno outfits showing glimpses of bikini tops saying the word 'naughty' in russian accents. Heck, it even happens to be my avatar.

--Marina & Bai Ling Go To The Jacuzzi--
    http://www.hotforwords.com/2009/05/29/bai-ling-and-me-in-the-jacuzzi/
Specifically the segment featuring Marina's walk out, from 1:47 to 1:51, a total, crushable TEN. In truth, I'm sure it's an 11, if only the cameraman didn't have a case of shaky hands...but then who could blame him?

    --Lollipop-- http://www.hotforwords.com/2008/12/26/lollipop/
I'm including lollipop for two reasons. Firstly, my underlying id surfaces and forces me to for obvious reasons. Secondly, any time the history of a lesson includes someone named Smeeeth, I cannot resist.

If Teacher would excuse my absences, I have a lot of homework to make up that my classmates didn't write down for me. So I might need a tutor session or two, actually. Yeah, I don't see any other way I could catch up to the class at this point. I'll buy us a Sundae.

This HotForWords lesson on pigtails is another one of those sleeper lessons where Marina gives us a quick historical tour of the pigtail and shows us how it is related to being a sign of authority and tells us that she wears them to remind us of who is the boss. The boss has my attention on this great lesson and one of my favorites.

    Cute little pigtails

This video selection gets introduced into favs with the latest HotForWords NeRdWoRd of the Day: ridonkulous suggested by animalntaz

    Ridonkulous:
adj. An exaggerated form of ridiculous. Most likely a blending of ridiculous and donkey.

Without even thinking about it I have to admit to myself that this is surely one of my favorite HotForWords videos of all time. If I think about it too much I just bust up laughing. This is HotForWords HD in all it's glory!

This is another one of those sleeper lessons and Marina teaches an important concept about the word several and how it relates to the word separate and how it changed its meaning, but in legal terms, the word several retains its original meaning. This is a great lesson and eye opener and one of my favorites.

This is a very interesting lesson as the origin of the word nonchalant when traced back through the French, then Latin points to calere from which we also get the word calorie. Essentially, nonchalant refers to "not being hot for something" meaning lacking enthusiasm or lacking passion. This lesson got me to think about many things so this is one of my favorite lessons.

    Hot For...

My Favorite HFW video is AK-47
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8O35jrFkTUE
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wGBQQI-v_08
To me it's such an interesting lesson and subject matter and I think she does an excellent job on tackling the origin and history of this awesome weapon! It is a very fine and dependable rifle. I should know, I own one. I also put the one done in Russian too, even though I can't speak or understand this language, it's really nice to hear her speak in her native tongue. Oh and the pic of her with her AK-47 is killer. She looks like she's gonna Kick Some Ass! and take names, very sexy.

    other Favorites:
    1.Bang! Sniper http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=43Qm5H_8wL0
Besides it being an excellent lesson, The little blooper reel at the end makes me Laugh every time. I don't know maybe it's just me.

    2.Nightmare http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n9F8vpyaykU
    3.Vampire http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oojpcqQHDoM
Dark subject matters that I like (believe it or not I do like lighter stuff too)
Okay with these three selections (there are also some others but too many to list) What I like about these also is how she's filmed herself with the closeup on her FACE, To me These lessons feel intimate, it could also be that she has a beautiful face to look at.

    4.GTW XVII http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKs7ZtxHeG0
I think this was the first video I saw on HFW site
I liked the impersonations (her take on them)
