Teacher’s Pet and Assistant!


Every video I pick one of my students to be my Teacher’s Pet, and you are automatically eligible to be the pet just by registering on the website and making a comment or two.  To be the Teacher’s Assistant (a step up from pet :-) )go ahead and fill out the application form here and wait for your name to be called!  Of course, an apple for the teacher, or other such forms of bribery *may* influence my choice! (But you didn’t hear that from me!)

    Wolves in the wind before the eclispe resolution the same year there is no way they would be a live this year to make the computer at that time to respond in the understand of what a “baying wolves” and obey there are not so indifferent like children when it comes to attention. :twisted:

    What’s happening with your site?
    I log in and I can’t comment but at the “TA/Pet” area I’m able to comment.
    Is this in regards to the “SNAFU-Reloaded” video that is only viewable at your “UTube” site?

    I truly want to be your number one teacher’s pet. I could learn so much
    yet I think the position is much more than that - so much more!!

    I know you think I need some discipline - maybe keep me in after class
    is out - would love to do lines and write out a 100 times or more that
    “Hot for Words is so hot for words and I need some discipline”.

    I will clean the blackboard, mop the floors and keep the classroom clean
    at all times. I won’t just bring an apple for you - I will bring you the best

    My Dear Teacher, I really enjoy learning from you and would love to become your teachers assistant for a spell. I really do enjoy learning the proper use of words and their origins. I feel that too many words of our language are misused by folks simply trying to sound smart and you have given us a chance to really fix that by educating us so that we dont get the opposite result, ie. sounding dumb. I thank you for your consideration regarding the aforementioned position as your adjutant. I would be an assiduous coadjutor, diligent and amenable. I will walk the dog for you and i do windows. :wink:

    What is the origin of the geological term, orogenesis? There are many ways to teach people new ideas, concepts and words. I think you are teaching a whole new classroom of eager STUDents. Some additional information that your audience will enjoy is how the mechanics of plate tectonics is the driving force of orogenesis.

    First the process of orogenesis creates orogenic belts around the world. These forces are the mountain building through the eruption of deep molten lave penetrating Mother Earth along coastal boundaries. As the oceanic plate goes under the continental plate, this is called subduction. So to summarize this lesson. You must have subduction before you have an orogenesis.

    Marina, Once a TA is selected what are their responsibilities? Are they to assist you in your research? Teachers pet the same as teachers assistant postion? Or it just a fun thing you make in the middle of your vids? :smile:

    I just finished the application part. No math questions, but,
    it wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be. :shock:

    Hi Marina, I have to say the first thing that attracted me to your sight, was the visual Simulation. lol BUT, I have to say, I have learned some things about words I never new!! You got a good imagaination on how to use your talents to include learning instead of just T/A lol Anyway, I enjoy your vids, and I have never heard anyone say before, you have a very nice Speaking voice. Its pleasant to listen to you talk. I could for hours. Just wanted to give you a positive comment on doing a good job on this crazy internet!!

    Im still healing from broken ribs I received from watching Jay’s video. I hope he does a lot more comedy videos in the future. I would pay for a ticket to see him live on stage doing a comedy routine.
    I myself wondered if I ever had such an accident how would I recover from it? I would do exactly as Jay did. Make the best of it. Jay your number #1 in my book.

    P.S. Jay, if your reading this. I once knew of a Captain of the tall ship Lady Washington that had a real peg leg. He would even climb up the ratlins with this hand made peg. He preferred it over his normal walking leg because the foot would get caught up in the lines. I freak out when I climb with my own two legs.
